COMPRESSED AIR GAS Compressed Air Gas is atmospheric air compressed and stored under high pressure for use in industrial, laboratory, instrumentation and pneumatic applications. It primarily consists of Nitrogen (N₂) and Oxygen (O₂), with small amounts of Argon, Carbon Dioxide and other trace gases. Compressed Air is widely used for operating pneumatic tools, control valves, actuators, instrumentation systems, laboratory equipment and various industrial processes. It can also be used for cleaning, drying and general air supply applications where clean and compressed air is required. Typical Composition: Nitrogen (N₂): Approximately 78% Oxygen (O₂): Approximately 20.9% Argon and other trace gases: Balance Physical state: Compressed gas Appearance: Colourless Odour: Normally odourless Flammability: Non-flammable The gas is supplied in high-pressure cylinders or compressed-air systems and should be used with suitable pressure regulators, fittings and equipment. Proper storage, handling and safety procedures should be followed in accordance with the applicable supplier specifications and safety standards. Applications: Pneumatic tools and equipment Instrumentation and control systems Industrial machinery and processes Laboratory equipment Cleaning and drying applications General compressed-air requirements
