Industrial Oxygen Gas in Sri Lanka

Industrial Oxygen Gas (O₂) is a high-purity, colorless, odorless, and highly oxidizing gas widely used in various industrial applications. Industrial Oxygen is commonly used in metal cutting and welding, steel manufacturing, chemical processing, glass production, wastewater treatment, and other industrial processes where controlled oxygen supply is required. Although oxygen itself is non-flammable, it strongly supports combustion and can cause combustible materials to ignite more easily and burn more intensely. For safe handling, oxygen cylinders and equipment should be kept away from heat, flames, oil, grease, and other combustible materials. Cylinders must be stored upright, secured properly, and handled using suitable equipment and safety procedures.
